Is an in-person appointment at Pirec Psychiatric Services an option?

It is not. This is exclusively a tele-psychiatric practice. Research shows that tele-therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy.



How should I contact you and what happens during the first encounter?

If you are interested in making an appointment, please send an email including your full name and your cell phone number to psychiatry@drpirec.com. A link to the practice portal will then be sent to you. You will then complete the registration as per instructions in the portal.

The first visit, lasting 60-75 minutes, is a comprehensive psychiatric interview that assesses your current and prior symptoms, as well as your needs.

Do you accept insurance?

No insurances are accepted and payments are due after the session. A statement will be provided to you that you can submit to your insurance company for an out of network reimbursement.


What are your fees?

Initial psychiatric assessment is $375
Follow-up appointments last 30 (only medication management) or 50 minutes (therapy included) are $175-200.
Payments are expected to be paid 24hr prior to the encounter

What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments need to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise a flat rate of $150 will be charged.
